The BRM-1 is a BMP-1 based Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle.  This conversion creates a vehicle from the 1st series which did not have the PSNR-5K "Tall Mike" ground surveillance radar installed in the rear of the turret, did not have Smoke Grenade Launchers on the turret, and had addition of the right side "box" behind the exhaust.  This vehicle would have been fielded in 1973 and later.  For any Trumpeter BMP-1 kit.
